TLDR:
Connect Mindbody or Momence to Claude or ChatGPT and the repeat class work runs itself: waitlist sweeps, class-pack expiry offers, roster notes, attendance flags and churn-risk check-ins, each drafted for your approval.
Your yoga booking software already knows who is enrolled, who is waitlisted for the 6pm and whose class pack has two visits left. What it doesn't do is act on any of that without a person opening it, running the report and writing the message. This guide covers how to connect that system to Claude or ChatGPT and hand over the acting part: bookings, class packs, waitlists, rosters and attendance.
It goes deeper on the class side of our yoga studio automation guide. Billing and autopays are a separate job, covered in yoga studio bookkeeping automation; teacher schedules are in yoga studio staff automation.
Connecting AI to your yoga booking software (Mindbody or Momence)
There are three ways in, and every studio has at least one of them.
If your yoga booking system has an API, the AI reads it directly: enrollments, waitlists, class packs, attendance, live. If it has exports, the AI works from a scheduled export instead. And if it has neither, a machine reads the reports you already download every week, which covers most of what follows.
Either way, the rule is the same throughout: the AI reads your system and drafts the action. It does not write back into your booking system, and it does not message a member until you approve the message or decide a job has earned the right to send on its own.
Using AI to get insights from your yoga booking system
The first thing that changes is that you stop building reports. You ask the question the way you'd ask your front desk, and the answer comes back from the list.
The questions a studio asks every week:
- "Who bought an intro offer and hasn't been back in two weeks?"
- "Which evening classes run under half full?"
- "Whose class pack expires this month with visits left on it?"
Each answer arrives as a list you can act on, not a spreadsheet you still have to read. Ask a follow-up ("draft a message to those students") and the drafts appear next to the names.
This is the practical difference between a booking system and yoga studio management software with an AI on top: the system stores the answer; the AI goes and gets it, then preps what you'd do about it.
Using AI to catch at-risk members in your yoga class management software
Most of a studio's revenue decisions hide in this data, and most of the work is pattern work the AI can prep.
- Pack-expiry sweeps. Every class pack near its expiry or down to its last visits gets a drafted note — use your visits, here's the renewal — before the pack quietly dies in a drawer.
- Intro-offer follow-through. Every intro student who hasn't rebooked gets a drafted nudge naming the class they took and the teacher they had, because that gap is where studios quietly lose their next members.
- Churn flags. A regular who has missed three straight weeks appears on your list before they've decided to quit. The AI drafts the check-in; you decide whether it's a message or a conversation at the desk.
- Capacity watch. Classes bumping their room limit flagged before the waitlist grows, and half-empty time slots flagged early enough to reschedule or promote.
None of this needs a new yoga class management software purchase. It runs on the data your current system already holds.
Getting more value from yoga class scheduling software: waitlists and rosters
The daily grind of studio management is three lists, and they are the first thing worth putting on a schedule.
The waitlist sweep. Every morning: which classes have an open mat, who is next in line, and a drafted offer ready to send. A spot that opens for tonight's 6pm gets offered this morning, not discovered after class. Most studios already have all of this sitting in their booking system; AI specialists like Unprompted can have the morning sweep reading your own lists.
Roster notes. Workshop enrollments, a new member's first class, a membership coming off hold — the teacher gets a note before class, drafted from the change itself.
Attendance flags. Who came, who no-showed, who's on a streak worth congratulating. The no-show side feeds your late-cancel policy; the money end of that lives in the bookkeeping guide.
On the full automation map, these run in the every-morning row of the schedule: they don't wait for anyone to ask.
Why you should layer AI on your existing yoga studio booking software
If Mindbody or Momence already does a job reliably, leave it there. Online booking, class reminders, payment retries and the enrollment records belong to your yoga scheduling software; the AI's lane is the work between the system and the member — noticing, looking up, drafting, reminding.
And two things stay with people entirely: conversations about a student's health or an injury, and any judgment call about a member's situation. The AI can prep the list and the first draft. The relationship is yours.

Does this work with Mindbody or Momence?
Yes, through whichever door your system has: an API, a scheduled export, or a machine that reads the reports you already download. That last route works with any booking system, whatever its age.
Do members get messages automatically?
Not until you say so. Every message starts as a draft you read and send. Once a job has earned your trust, the waitlist offer say, you can let that one send on its own.
What does the AI change inside my booking system?
Nothing. It reads your enrollment data and drafts actions for you; the system of record stays exactly as your desk maintains it.
Where should a studio start?
The waitlist sweep and the intro-offer follow-up. Both are pure follow-through on data you already have, and both put students on open mats, which is revenue. The [scoring framework](/blog/what-to-automate-first) is how we'd rank the rest.
