The staff app, now on your computer

A quick recap of the biggest things we shipped this week. The full list is below.

The staff app, now on your computer

The app now runs on your computer at app.unprompted.tech, laid out for a bigger screen: your list on one side, the open item right next to it. Install it from the browser and it behaves like any other app — its own icon in the Dock, notifications when something needs you, and a one-click reload when there's a new version.

Replies and follow-ups

The morning and afternoon shift texts now report who replied to the club's outreach — and how many other messages still need an answer. In the Inbox, a "Waiting on a reply" filter shows every conversation where the ball is in the member's court, with a Mark handled button shared across every staff login: handled once is handled for everyone. Shift texts speak in the club's own voice, too — they open with the club's name, CC the right staff, round court times to the half hour — and a link in one opens the installed app on the right page.

New message, the Messages way

Writing a text from the app now works the way texting works everywhere else. Start a group the way you would in Messages. Type a name and the open conversation appears right under it, so you can see where your text is going before you send it — and your first text lands in that conversation instantly. If a text doesn't go through, it says "Not sent" instead of leaving you guessing.

Improvements

Search

"Rich Stein" finds Richard Stein — player search forgives nicknames and partial spellings, at every keystroke.

Ratings

NTRP and USTA both show next to a name, always in the same order.

Texting

A sending line while a text goes out, green Send on SMS, and Delivered updates live.

Sends

A list send goes out one text at a time, paced like a person texting, so group chats keep up.

Fixes

Alerts

No more "new match was booked" alert for a booking your own desk just made.

App

The app says "Admin", not "Owner".
